Services
Individual Therapy | 50 Minute Session
Individual sessions are conducted in person 1-2 times a week for fifty minutes. In these sessions, we will co-construct our therapeutic relationship as we learn to navigate the complexity of your emotional landscape.
The needs of each individual are different, and we will work together to find an approach tailored specifically to you. Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, abuse recovery, hopelessness, or exploring early childhood wounds our work together will be collaborative, dynamic, and suited to whatever phase of healing you currently find yourself in.
Couples Therapy | 50 Minute Session
Couples sessions are conducted in person 1-2 times a week for fifty minutes. In these sessions, I treat the relationship between you and your partner as my patient. I seek to carefully observe and understand the relational dynamics affecting your relationship, and together we explore the path toward change.
You may choose couples therapy for a variety of reasons. Couples therapy can be beneficial if you are divorcing and learning to co-parent, interested in exploring new roles within your relationship, healing from the impact of infidelity, adjusting to a major life change, seeking to change your sexual dynamic, or simply wanting to come to a deeper understanding of yourself, your partner, and your relationship.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a type of therapy that explores how one’s unconscious experience affects their current behavior.
At some point in our lives, many of us have found ourselves acting in ways we know are harmful to us. Yet, it seems that no matter how hard we try to change, we continue to replicate the same cycles. We may even find ourselves saying, “I don’t know why I keep doing this.”
In psychodynamic therapy, the patient and the therapist work together to examine these unconscious frameworks. This allows the patient to come to a deeper understanding of themselves, expanding their emotional capacity as they navigate the path to change. -
A subcategory of psychodynamic therapy, Object Relations Theory is the psychoanalytic model developed by Melanie Klein. It holds that in our infancy, we begin to construct our views of ourselves and the world through experiences with our caretakers. As we grow, we internalize these beliefs in our unconscious. Object Relations Theory acts as a vehicle into the depth of our psyche, allowing us to explore the ways in which these beliefs impact our daily living.
-
Attachment Theory examines the ways in which early childhood relationships with caregivers replicate themselves in present day relationships. Attachment Theory helps us observe these unconscious replications so we may begin to practice more sustainable styles of relating.
